so I managed to 'pass' my midterm review, now I just have to push for the final. things have been moving along, if slowly. but I have been making progress. Lately, I have been working out the 'subtleties' of the various DBMS. I also have to write some tests so that I know what I've written actually _works_, suffice it to say I don't indulge in TDD.

even though I haven't been updating this blog very often, I have made (significant) progress on my GSoC project. If I had more tuits, I should hook up a git post commit hook to post here. That should be relatively easy via github, but for now, all the commits are viewable here.
I also feel like I got my second wind, after I wrote my JFDI article and read mst's latest blog.
